Guys we can only so one draft on fantrax. Would you want to do the draft in there for entry draft and then free agency can be done on proboards OR the old way where people send a list to Kings?
Please vote as the poll will close on June 28

So if we vote "YES" does that mean Entry Draft involving 2019 NHL draft picks to be on Fantrax and then send in lists for free agent draft on proboards?
sorry its early lol... got confused!

It would be yes to the entry and then we can decide how to do free agency (either way on proboards but list vs drip draft etc)

I'm old and easily confused so I wasn't sure of the right response but I'm not a fan of turning in a list of FA - I would rather conduct a entry draft on proboards and the free agency on fantrax. An entry draft would be a lot easier to keep track of then free agency IMO.
If I misunderstood the question or how the process has worked in the past then ignore more train wreck of thought.

So you'd be a no then Gary. The way it was handled originally was to submit a list to Kings of guys you would want and then it snaked around
Then we also started to do an actual draft (like entry) instead.

No offense to anyone but what is the accountability of sending in a blind list, mistakes happen. I would think we could just post a draft pick on a thread and move on to the next?

That's why we switched it that way as some GM's didn't want to submit a list etc.

After we figure out the entry I think then we'll do another poll for FA

But they are tied together since we can do only one on Fantrax? If we say YES to the entry draft on fantrax then we have no choice on how to do the FA - other than the actual drafting piece?

That was my thought process for the next poll as a follow up. Poll master

We could always do a slow draft for the free agents on proboards, doesn't have to be that u all send me lists. That's just how the old commissioner did it. Last year after canucks and I took over we changed it based on popular demand. Just keep in mind that we did have a decent amount of technical difficulties with the fantrax draft last year. Technically it's easier to do the entry draft on proboards, since it's much longer and everyone participates, which makes it easier to keep track of on proboards. The free agency draft is only four rounds, a few don't have anyone they want to sign, and by the end most aren't participating anymore.

That's why I think it's easier to do entry on fantrax. Plus you can't double draft in error on the same player etc
